1919 Ford Model TT / Howe Fire Engine. This fire engine is reported to be originally from Baltimore Fire Department. The pump is a Howe three cylinder piston type. The pump is complete except for the cylinders and pistons. Restoration has been started but it still needs a lot of work. The frame and running gear is mostly complete. It is equipped with a Ruckstall two speed rear axle. The engine is complete and according to the previous owner it ran, (I have not run it). The transmission does require new clutch & brake linings. The only bodywork with it is the hood, fenders, front head lamps, running boards and brass handrails. There are also boxes of small parts such as red marker lights. Need sensible offers and for it to go to a good home to be restored to it’s former glory. No title or other official paperwork available. The fire engine is located in Northern California. Ex-FDNY Truck This is a 1980 American LaFrance Pumper. FDNY Shop # AP 8029. This truck is powered by a Detroit Diesel with and Allison Automatic with 19,000 miles on it. It just had 2 new batteries put in her and starts right up. Since it was originally sold in NYC it was geared to a max speed of around 53mph. This truck has an upgraded Whelen light bar and was refurbished in the mid 90's. This truck has a 500 gallon water tank and a pump rated at 1000 gpm.

The tires are in good condition all around. There is a little wear showing to the rear tires but not much and you wouldn't need to replace them anytime soon. The metal all around is in very good shape for the year with some rust behind the front wheels. The inside of the cab is in good condition overall. I personally went on a road trip of over 300 miles with this truck and it drove great. Truck has a clear NJ title and ready to run. Loosing storage and truck needs to go. Asking $7,000 or reasonable offer in that area. Contact Chris: 7014s@antiquevehicleclubs.com or (201)315-0999     7014s 07.26.07

Antique 1950 Mack Fire Engine Trolley ...Custom created from 1950 Mack Fire Truck with pumper. Conversion was made on this vehicle in the 1970's and is fabulous as a touring vehicle or parade show vehicle. The engine is original and is in working condition with only 29K original miles! The engine make is a Continental. The manual transmission is original as well and rides very smoothly.

Some added custom features include custom canvas roof, custom woodwork, custom seating in rear of vehicle seating up to 18 people, custom speaker system wired for microphone or music inside or outside of the vehicle, and still has a hidden siren and original horns. This is a one of a kind. It was most recently used in 2006-2007 as a touring trolley for history and miscellaneous city tours. It has been in several parades and is a crowd pleaser!

There is potential to lease signage on the sides or just keep as is. (Any signs seen in pictures are removable and are not permanent). Overall, the condition of the vehicle is good for its age and usage. There is some weathering on the wood just from usage and sun exposure. This is your chance to invest in a true one-of-a-kind collectible/antique vehicle. Paperwork on the history of this vehicle also goes to purchaser. I am asking $25,000.00 for this one-of-a-kind custom fire engine trolley! Amy 1-914-323-5076 Sarasota, FL Thanks, Amy Wingate     7012s 06.06.07

1863 Amoskeag Steamer #78 The following item may be of interest to you, or someone you know: An 1863 Amoskeag steam pumper was in service with Relief Company #9 of the Pittsburgh Fire Department. The Amoskeag manufacturing company of Manchester, New Hampshire built this steamer bearing the serial number 78. The frame resembles the shape of a harp; a single vertical flywheel is mounted crosswise within the harp frame. The harp frame allowed the steamer to turn sharp corners that straight frame steamers could not navigate. The harp frame steamer is also extremely rare. Amoskeag Manufacturing only built 118 harp frame steamers. Only a few are known to exist. To the best of my knowledge, this is the oldest privately held Amoskeag horse drawn steam pumper in the world.

The history of this steam pumper started with Relief Company #9 of Pittsburgh in 1863. We do not know when it was pulled out of service or what happened to it until Mr. Walter Knott acquired it in the mid 1960’s. We can only consider it a miracle that such an amazing piece of craftsmanship did not go to the World War II scrap drives as most steam fire engines did. The Amoskeag was on display at Mr. Knott’s theme park “Knott’s Berry Farm” located in Buena Park, California. Around 1978 the steamer was once more on the move, the park was expanding and the steamer went into storage. The steamer was sold to an unidentified individual. This individual sold the steamer in 1980 to Mr. Ken Freiberg of Captain Ken’s Firehouse Foods in St. Paul, Minnesota. Ken used the steamer at trade shows to promote his food products. In 1985, Ken loaned the Amoskeag steamer to the Firefighters Memorial Museum in Minneapolis, MN. It sat on display at the museum until 1989. In late 1989, the company wanted to restore the steamer to its original glory and also have it once more, steam up and pump water. The steamer was disassembled piece by piece. The steam and water pump refurbished. The wheels, driver’s seat, suspension springs, and rear firebox stand repainted and meticulously pinstriped using real gold leaf and mother of pearl paint. The metal sent out for polishing and perfection. The boiler sent for inspection and certification. Just before assembly was to start in late 1999, Ken’s restoration expert had an opportunity to start a new career and left the project unassembled and unfinished. The company (Captain Ken’s Firehouse Foods) was sold to the Traxler Brothers and Ken’s prized Amoskeag steamer laid in hundreds or pieces in the back of the factory. The new owners of the company reassembled the steamer for Ken. Unfortunately, Ken passed away in 2005 and was not able to fulfill his dream of seeing the Amoskeag steam to life and pump water. This Steam Fire Engine was then acquired by its current owner from the estate of Ken Freiberg.

This unique steamer is for sale to the right home by private treaty. Ken wanted this steamer to be pulled in parades and/or displayed for all to see. Amoskeag Steam Fire Engine #78 has traveled from coast to coast looking for a permanent home. If you would like more information do not hesitate to contact me by voice or email. American LaFrance 399 Pumper, #G535. 100 gallon tank. This truck was specifically produced for, and displayed at, the 1934 Chicago Worlds Fair at the Century of Progress Exhibit. Constructed on a GMC chassis, one of only ten ever manufactured. As per the original documentation included with this vehicle, special paint, chrome plating and attention to detail were put into the manufacturing of this display piece by the Elmira factory.

The Medina NY Fire Department subsequently purchased this truck, and it was in continuous service until my father, Joe Connolly, purchased the truck from them in 1972. He owned O'Brien's Tavern in Medina, NY, and used it for parades and outings, and otherwise kept it stored in the barn. Recently appraised as one of the most complete and original trucks to be found. The only exceptions are the missing axe, and the broken magneto knob.

It is a fantastic restoration project, as all of its parts are intact. We have not started this beauty in ten years. Please see the photos included (email for additional photos), all the bells, lights and whistles are still on 'er. Truck is immediately available to be trailered out from its present location in western NY. The selling price is $15,000.00 Sorry, Sold in only nine (9) Days!     Early 1900's Chiefs Car. This command car is loaded with extras from the lights, siren, custom drivers seat, to the fine art images on the side, and can be the most important piece of apparatus on the fireground. Photo of Classic Chiefs CarThis apparatus was designed with longevity in mind. As you can plainly see, while the body design is standard no frills backyard issue, this command car has been re-powered many times over the years.

The last power plant replacement was in the early 70's during the National fuel crisis. At that time it was re-powerd to its present state. As strange as it may sound, this unit does not use gasoline, diesel, propane, electricity, or nuclear fusion to run. That's right folks, you guessed it, this unit runs on Methane Gas.  You can have this amazing piece of apparatus (the only one we know to be in existance) for your collection, for the fantastic price of $28,975.00. 1942 American La France CC pumper on a Chevy 1 1/2-ton chassis. The rarity of this truck is that it was manufactured during WWII, during which time the manufacturing effort was centered on the war, so there were not many fire trucks manufactured in 1942.

Features: Engine is the 235 - it's a 6 cylinder in-line - 200-gallon tank - 500-gpm pump and all original equipment except the 1 1/2" and 2 1/2" hose. - Booster reel and line iincluded. - All of the original paperwork from the factory. It has 10,000 original miles, and was in service in the town of Lancaster, South Carolina. This truck has been in storage (mostly inside, some outside but covered) since 1981.

Located in Jefferson, South Carolina, and it is the buyer's responsibility to get the truck to its new home at the buyer's expense. Since it's been sitting for so long, driving the truck is not recommended. Email ehs347@hotmail.com for more information and lots of pictures. 1947 Dodge Fire Chief's Car. This is a replica of a late 40's chiefs car. Is is an 1947 Dodge Club Coupe. Has a flat head six with dual carbs and manifolds. It has three on the tree with a fluid drive transmission and runs and drives like new. It has new brakes, custom wiring harness, all new interior from carpet to head liner, complete new clutch and drive shaft. Oil pressure, amp, temp, gas gauge and speedometer all work, as do head lamps, parking, brake and turn signals.

Click For Larger Photo! The door lettering is 22 karat gold on vynal material rather than painted on so revision to lettering of your choice is simple without damage to the paint job. The engine has very good oil pressure, runs nice and cool (except they like to run warm during parades on hot days on the blacktop) but I've added a electric booster fan to move more air through the radiator when needed.

So not to over tax the 6 volt car electrical system, the rotary roof light, fender lights, siren and auxiliary radiator cooling fan are run off a 12 volt battery stored in the trunk and isolated from the primary electrical system.

I will provide answers to any questions you have and more photos or a video are available to seriously interested parties. Asking price is $17,500.00 Reasonable Offers Considered.
